Despite the heavy rains earlier this month the Contractors are making good progress. The new cast in place drainage culvert was completed in late April. The roadway sewer work along Orchard is on pace to be complete by the end of the May. Stone base for the new lanes will be placed over the next 2 to 3 weeks. Traffic signal and roadway lighting work will be ongoing.
As long as the weather continues to be mild the Contractor hopes to begin paving the new northbound concrete lanes in mid to late June.
